Meet the Pastor
About

Pastor Albert Salazar was born and raised in the Houston/Pasadena Texas area. He graduated from Pasadena High School in the summer of 1967 where upon was drafted into the army. After serving 2 years with an honorable discharge, he returned to Pasadena Texas with his new family.

During the time he was working at Olin Chemical Plant for 10 years, he felt the call into full time ministry. It came out of a teachable moment in his life when God revealed a need for leadership in the lives of young people. As in all things that God does, He only lets us see in part. When his Pastor wanted to offer a bible study to members of the church, they soon found that the constituents attending the church from a different part of town were not interest in having a bible study, but wanted a full time church instead.

At the age of 31, he and his wife set out on the journey that God laid before them. New Life Church was birthed under their pastoral administration. He has always believed in "that a workman should study to show himself approved" therefore he strived to attend school while pastoring and has earned both a Bachelors in biblical studies from Vision Christian University, and a Master's in Psychology/Counseling from International Christian University.

In 2006, the name of the church was changed to Master's Plan World Outreach, together we have experienced 4 building programs. Master's Plan foundation was based on God's word that provides growth and community. So 30 years later, after having begun in a small 28x30 house converted into a sanctuary, in a local Houston neighborhood, the campus now sits on a multimillion dollar complex on Beltway 8 near Highway 59.
Pastor Albert's testimony is one of remaining faithful in midst of trials, by overcoming through faith; not one of complexity, but of peace found in Jesus; one of fighting for the Lord, and victory in hardships. Certainly God's greatness, mercy and grace have followed him thus far. Our vision at this point is not behind us, the best days of ministry are now ahead of us.
